Seen HIM? Newark Police Say Man Exposed Himself Near Kids

Police in Newark are looking for a man who is accused of committing acts of lewdness in the presence of children.

On Wednesday, police received reports of a man exposing and touching himself around 8:30 a.m. near Bergen Street and 17th Avenue.

The suspect (pictured) is described as 6'2" with a slim build and a dark complexion. He was wearing a khaki jacket, purple baseball cap and black-and-white sneakers.

Anyone who has any information on the man is asked to call the police 24-hour tips line, 1-877-NWK-TIPS (1-877-695-8477) or 1-877-NWK-GUNS (1-877-695-4867). All anonymous Crime Stopper tips are kept confidential and could result in a reward.
