A man wanted in one of the biggest gold thefts in Canadian history is facing years behind bars in the United States after a Pennsylvania traffic stop uncovered a cache of guns hidden in a rental car, federal authorities announced.
Durante King-Mclean, 27, of Cambridge, Ontario, was back before a Harrisburg federal judge on Tuesday, June 23, 2026, for a 2023 case that prosecutors say exposed a cross-border weapons pipeline stretching from Florida to Canada.

Two Newark residents and a Maryland man were arrested and charged after a man was stabbed and a woman assaulted at a resort in Atlantic City, authorities announced Wednesday, April 15.
At 10:37 p.m. on Sunday, April 5, officers responded to the Showboat Resort and and located a 38-year-old Severn, Maryland woman who had been assaulted, Atlantic City police said. She was transferred to a nearby hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Trent, 63, of Forge Road in Riverhead, was reported missing on Jan. 29 after she had not been seen or heard from since Jan. 27, according to authorities.

According to a report by Tucson NBC-TV affiliate KVOA, a local couple found the items in the desert less than a mile from Guthrie’s home in the Catalina Foothills of Tucson.
