The man demanded money and threatened to harm an employee at a business on the 100 block of 7th Avenue on Wednesday, July 8, Newark Public Safety Director Anthony F. Ambrose said in a release.

The man is 5 feet 8 inches tall with a medium brown complexion, dark hair and brown eyes. He was wearing a red/pink shirt, blue jean shorts, dark sneakers and a backwards red hat during the incident, Ambrose said.
