Jersey City Dispatcher Intentionally Hit Man With Vehicle After Altercation: Prosecutor
A 37-year-old Jersey City woman was arrested and charged with intentionally striking a pedestrian in Bayonne on Sunday, Oct. 13, authorities said. At 12:20 a.m., Bayonne police found a man with life-threatening injuries after he was struck by a vehicle at Route 440 and 22nd Street, Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez said. The man was transported to a nearby hospital, where he remains in critical condition, Suarez said. One person was in custody after crashing a stolen car and fleeing in a vehicle that he carjacked before attacking three Port Authority Police officers on the George Washington Bridge overnight, authorities said. A GoFundMe campaign has been launched for one of two West Milford teenage boys seriously injured in an ATV crash on Tuesday, Oct. 8. Brandon Mroziuk was identified as one of the two boys in a Polaris Sportsman 850 that crossed a center line on Highlander Drive and collided with a 2013 Chevy Malibu. A BMW driver is facing multiple charges after crashing and injuring a family of four on Route 3 on Thursday, Oct. 3, authorities said. Hamza M. Abdelaziz, 20, of Clifton, was racing in a 2023 black BMW 540 when he struck the Fair Lawn family's vehicle on the Berry’s Creek Bridge in the eastbound lanes in Rutherford, just prior to the East Rutherford border around 1:10 p.m., Rutherford Police Chief John Russo said. Moorestown police were looking for whoever stole two luxury cars that were found in Newark, authorities said. A Ferrari and a Porsche were stolen on the 700 block of Lippincott Avenue early in the morning on Monday, Sept. 30, the Moorestown Police Department said in a news release. Two luxury vehicles were stolen in a residential burglary in Westfield on the early morning of Monday, Sept. 30, police said. A 32-year-old Bergen County man has been charged in a deadly crash that happened Friday, Sept. 20 in Passaic County, authorities said. Johnny Aguilar, of Carlstadt, was operating a Ford Excursion when he struck a 59-year-old motorcyclist at the intersection of Paulison Avenue and Pennington Avenue, Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M.
