Head-On Crash Sends Leaves Two People Seriously Injured In Gloucester Township Two people were hospitalized with serious injuries when a vehicle crossed over the double yellow line and hit another head-on in Camden County on Wednesday, Oct. 23, police said. Police said the vehicle in the northbound lane crossed the center line on College Drive at Cherrywood Drive in Gloucester Township around 12 p.m. Arriving officers found two vehicles in the road with significant damage. 40 Firefighters Control 2-Alarm Blaze That Injured 1, Damaged Fair Lawn Home: Police A two-alarm fire left a Fair Lawn family's home damaged and sent one firefighter to the hospital Wednesday afternoon, Oct. 23, authorities said. Firefighters were called to the home on the 35 block of Lindwood Road at approximately 2:40 p.m., where smoke and flames were found in the back of the home, local police said. Pedestrian Struck, Killed By Car On Route 21: Prosecutor A pedestrian was struck and killed by a vehicle along Route 21 in Passaic on Tuesday, Oct. 22, authorities said. The unidentified male was struck by an Acura sedan while trying to cross the roadway in the northbound lanes around 8:05 p.m., Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes and Passaic Police Department Chief Luis A. Guzman said. Driver, 33, Charged In Crash That Killed Passaic County Grandmother: Prosecutor A 33-year-old Clifton man has been charged in the April crash that killed a 58-year-old grandmother from Passaic, authorities announced. Grzegorz Wolak was in a red Ford Explorer when he struck Rachel McNeil on Passaic and Aycrigg avenues around 11:15 p.m. April 10, Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes and Passaic Chief of Police Luis A. Guzman said. McNeil died two days later at St. Joseph’s University Medical Center. Paterson Building Collapse Under Investigation Authorities are investigating a building collapse overnight in Paterson. The vacant, single-story building on Ryle Avenue collapsed around 12 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 23, the fire department said. The building is attached to a vacant three-story mill. Public Service Electric was on the scene working to isolate power to the street and manage downed wires. Crews are actively conducting primary searches of the collapsed area.

Man Sexually Assaulted Victim Since Age 5 For Years In Palisades Park: Prosecutor A 46-year-old Bergen County man has been arrested on accusations he sexually assaulted a child, authorities said. Pedro Osorio-Estrada assaulted the child multiple times when they were between ages 5 and 15 in Palisades Park, Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella said.
