A tractor-trailer took down a pole and wires in Marlboro, authorities said. The crash on Wednesday afternoon, Aug. 30, closed Harbor Road between Route 79 and Tennent Road, Marlboro police said. There were 557 Monmouth County homes and businesses blacked out at about 11:30 a.m., Thursday May 4, JCP&L reported. Part of the problem was blamed on an electric substation in Howell, according to an unconfirmed report. A 55-year-old truck driver crashed into the home at the intersection of McLean Avenue and Route 35 North at 3:05 p.m. on Wednesday, April 5, Point Pleasant Beach police said.
