Police ID Three 20-Somethings Killed In High-Speed South Jersey BMW Crash
Three people in their 20s were killed in a South Jersey crash early Saturday, Aug. 17, police said.
A 2006 BMW operated by Ian P. Rodriguez, of Millville, was heading west on Mayslanding Road at a high rate of speed when it suddenly left the roadway to the right on the approach of Panther Road around 8:25 a.m., Vineland Sgt. N. Dounoulis said.
The vehicle struck a utility pole, lost control, and overturned while striking an irrigation winch located on the farm field on the northwest corner of the intersection, Dounoulis said.

A Monmouth County man was driving 117 mph just before a multi-car crash on Route 9 in Middlesex County that killed his wife and injured others, authorities said.
Benjamin Futerman, 32, of Manalapan, was charged on Wednesday, July 10 with aggravated manslaughter and vehicular homicide in the death of his wife, Kristina Godich, 31, Middlesex County Prosecutor Yolanda Ciccone and Old Bridge Police Chief Thomas J. Montagna announced Thursday, July 11.

Two men wanted for beating attendants during a two-day spree of quick-stop armed gas station robberies in three New Jersey counties were captured by federal agents, authorities said.
