Boy, 13, Charged After Threats Of Shooting, Bombing Prompt Searches Of Bergenfield School, Home
Authorities searched Bergenfield's middle school and the home of a 13-year-old boy who they said posted threatening Snap Chat messages. The messages "detailed a school bombing and school shooting" at the Roy Brown Middle School last Friday, Detective Lt. William Duran said Thursday. A shelter-in-place immediately went into effect at the Washington Avenue school that day after the messages were received, Duran said. Police: There's Another Side To Fight Between Bergen Firefighter, Cellphone Store Employee
UPDATE: There's another side to an incident involving a New Milford firefighter and an employee at a cellphone store in Bergenfield whom he accused of attacking him in front of his young son, police said early Tuesday evening. Daily Voice left a message early Tuesday with an employee at the T-Mobile store on South Washington Avenue who said the manager was expected at work sometime during the day. Bergenfield PD: Thief Posing As Delivery Driver Caught Red-Handed
A thief from the Bronx who bore an Amazon Flex insignia on both his shirt and his car was arrested by Bergenfield police when he showed up to collect an iPhone he ordered with a stolen credit card, authorities said. The victim, who lives in North Bergen, had notified police after discovering the phone's purchase and delivery address, Sgt. Kyle Witty said. Detective Lt.
