Bayonne Man Hid Firearm In Baby's Diaper Bag: Police
A 35-year-old Bayonne man was arrested and charged after assaulting another man and having a handgun in his baby's diaper bag, police said. On the afternoon of Monday, August 21, police were called to West 25th Street on a report of an assault, Captain Eric Amato said. Upon arrival, police found Robert Correa on top of a man who was lying on the ground and bleeding from the head, Amato said. During their investigation, police found a semiautomatic handgun that was in a baby diaper bag stored on the stroller of Correa's child, who was nearby, Amato said.
