7-Hour Weekend SWAT Standoff Involving 3 Kids, 4 Adults Ends In Woman's Arrest A seven-hour SWAT standoff ended with one woman in custody Sunday afternoon, authorities in Hudson County said. Sonia Alvarez, 59, of Union City, was charged with obstruction in violation and served a disorderly persons offense in connection with Sunday's incident, Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez said.
