That's the question a Florida sheriff asked New Jersey officials when a convicted killer was released from prison early and committed a similarly heinous crime less than two years later. $5K Reward Offered In East Orange Homicide
A reward is being offered for the person who shot and killed a man unloading groceries from a family member's car. Troy Traynham, 59, of East Orange, was shot outside his Chestnut Street apartment on Sept. 18. He was transported to University Hospital where he was pronounced dead at 4:48 p.m. No arrests have been made. Acting Essex County Prosecutor Theodore N. Authorities ID Man Shot Dead In East Orange
Authorities have identified a man who was shot dead in East Orange last weekend. Troy Traynham, 59, was shot outside his Chestnut Street apartment on Saturday, according to Acting Essex County Prosecutor Theodore N. Stephens, II, and East Orange Police Chief Phyllis Bindi. Traynham was taken to University Hospital where he died. No arrests have been made in the deadly shooting.
