At 7:52 a.m., officers responded to Prospect Street and Oakland Road after a car traveling south on Prospect struck the two juveniles, police said. One juvenile was transported to area hospital with parent for non-life-threatening injury and the second juvenile's parent declined medical transport, police said. Officer Vincent Labarbiera stopped the driver of a 2005 Honda Accord with overly tinted windows for making an unsafe lane change on the southbound highway near Midland Avenue earlier this month, Police Chief Kenneth Ehrenberg said.
