The Glen Rock Volunteer Ambulance Corps took her to The Valley Hospital in Ridgewood with a police escort following the 6:15 p.m. Dec. 4 crash in the 600 block of Harristown Road. Two Hospitalized In Three-Vehicle Pileup In Fair Lawn At least two people were hospitalized following a three-car pileup late Saturday in Fair Lawn. Broadway was temporarily closed in both directions just after 11 p.m. Nov. 4 so that members of the Fair Lawn Volunteer Ambulance Corps could tend to the wounded and the wreckage could be cleared from the intersection at Plaza Road. The extent of injuries couldn't immediately be determined. Serious damage was done to the late-1990s-era Honda CRV and two Toyotas -- a RAV4 and a Prius, which was broadsided on the driver's door -- all of which had to be towed from the scene. A Toyota RAV4 whose driver turned suddenly off River Road onto West Main Street was struck by a Kia Sportage headed in the opposite direction around 1 p.m., responders said. State Police: SUV Driver Runs Off Morris Turnpike, Crashes Into Utility Pole A Sussex County SUV driver veered off the roadway and crashed into a utility pole Wednesday morning, state police said. A Toyota RAV4 was traveling on Morris Turnpike in Hampton Township when the driver ran off the road and hit a pole near Newton Avenue just before 8:35 a.m., NJSP Lawrence Peele told Daily Voice. The driver was taken to Newton Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries, Peele said. The road was shut down for about an hour following the crash, which remained under investigation, authorities said.
