Naked, Agitated Route 17 Motel Guest Trashes Room, Seized By SWAT
A naked, agitated Route 17 motel guest was quickly seized by a Bergen County Regional SWAT team on Monday after he trashed his room, authorities said.
The 46-year-old man, originally from Paramus, appeared in the throes of what looked like "excited delirium" when Upper Saddle River police were called to the Fair Motel at 12:47 p.m. April 17, responders said.
The man was outside the room, naked and bleeding, when responders arrived and then immediately ran inside and barricaded the door, Upper Saddle River Police Detective Capt. Edward Kane said.

Washington Township Woman Stabbed Dead, Boyfriend Charged In Attempted Murder-Suicide
A Washington Township man stabbed his girlfriend dead before trying to kill himself before dawn Sunday, authorities confirmed.
Police responding to the Washington Commons townhouse complex off Pascack Road shortly after midnight found Mary Huber, 51, on the floor of her condo, with Patrick Camilli, 55, on top of her, Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella said.
Huber, who'd suffered multiple stab wounds and bruises, was pronounced dead a short time later at The Valley Hospital in Ridgewood, the prosecutor said.

A West Milford motorist driving without a license, registration or insurance was under the influence of drugs when his car crashed into another vehicle in Glen Rock, authorities said.
Responders rushed Jeffrey Spurlock of Hewitt to The Valley Hospital in Ridgewood after it appeared he suffered an overdose behind the wheel of a 2006 Nissan before it struck another vehicle at Rock Road and Maple Avenue at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, they said.
