Creepy Bergen Starbucks Patron Tells Boy Not To Speak To Strangers
Police are urging vigilance after a rambling man told a boy inside of a Bergen County Starbucks not to speak to strangers. The man in his 40s with light-colored hair was making little sense and acting in a bizarre manner, in a recording taken by the boy inside of the Rock Road Starbucks in Glen Rock, Police Chief Dean Ackermann said. The incident that occurred on Friday, Nov. 4 around 2:10 p.m. was not reported until well after the individual left the store, the chief said. Police Seek Clues After Man In Minivan Offers Ride To Young Girl At Parsippany Bus Stop
Police are seeking clues after an unidentified man driving a minivan offered a ride to a young girl waiting at a Parsippany bus stop Wednesday morning. The man drove a newer-model minivan to a bus stop near Tabor Road and asked a girl waiting for her bus if she needed a ride around 7 a.m., Parsippany Police said in a Thursday morning release. The man drove away after the girl boarded the bus. Paramus police turned to the public for help Tuesday following a pair of troubling incidents involving children and a spiky-haired stranger in an SUV. Authorities aren’t sure whether they the driver who approached a 10-year-old girl Monday is the same one who frightened an 8-year-old boy riding his bike last month.
