Missing NYC Man Identified From Human Remains Found In South Jersey Woods: Prosecutors
A New York City man missing for more than a decade has been identified from human remains found in Atlantic County, authorities said. Kevin Morris was recently identified from the remains discovered in Galloway Township on Monday, June 7, 2021, the Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office said in a news release on Monday, May 13. He was reported missing at 32 years old in Staten Island in October 2011. The skeletal remains were found in the woods at 187 South Pomona Avenue. Sudden Death Of NJ High Schooler Prompts Outpouring Of Support
The community is mourning the loss of a 17-year-old boy whose "life was just beginning" when he was killed in a car accident. Jayson Lee Cugliari of Forked River had just been accepted to the college of his choice, Stockton University. He was working and getting ready for Christmas, according to a GoFundMe page. The senior at Lacey Township High School was killed in a car accident on Dec. 9. Jayson worked at the Goddard School in Forked River where he was adored by students and staff. New Jersey residents have a very unfavorable view of Bob Menendez. A Stockton University poll found just eight percent of New Jersey residents support Menendez, who was recently indicted on federal bribery charges, along with his wife, Nadine. The poll found more than 71 percent said he should resign, and only eight percent want him to remain in office. Niche has released its 2022 rankings of the best colleges in New Jersey. Princeton University was ranked first among the top 10 in the state. The calculations were based on "an analysis of academic, admissions, financial, and student life data from the U.S. Department of Education along with millions of reviews from students and alumni." Both are 19 years old. Both are called Nicholas. And both won Board of Education races in New Jersey. In Nutley, Nicholas Scotti won one of the three spots in the seven-candidate race and in Egg Harbor Township, Nicholas Seppy beat out an incumbent board member for an unexpired, one-year term, initially reported by NJ Advance Media. 826 Baby Turtles Rescued From Jersey Shore Storm Drains
Nearly 830 baby turtles were rescued from storm drains across the Jersey Shore. The 826 Diamondback terrapin hatchlings had been hiding from the cold winter temps in their nest chambers and recently hatched at the Stockton University vivarium.
