Kids Club Staffer Who Had Sleepovers In NJ With Boy He Raped Sentenced: DA
A former Neshaminy Kids Club worker was sentenced to 35 to 88 years in state prison for sexually assaulting seven boys and filming some of the abuse, Bucks County authorities announced on Friday, Nov. 15, 2024. Gerald William Spoto, 42, of Disk Lane in Bristol Township, pleaded guilty in July to nearly three dozen charges for crimes committed between the late 1990s and 2023. He was also declared a sexually violent predator, requiring lifetime sex offender registration and treatment. Woman Sexually Assaulted In West New York: Prosecutor
A 40-year-old woman was sexually assaulted in West New York on Saturday, July 27, authorities said. At 1:30 a.m., the woman encountered a man at Hudson Avenue and 51st Street, Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez said. The woman said the man grabbed her by the hair and sexually assaulted her, Suarez said. The Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office Special Victims Unit and the West New York Police Department are investigating, authorities said. Anyone with information is asked to contact 201-915-1234.

Judge Rejects Release Of Morris Man Charged With Abducting, Raping Bergen 13-Year-Old
A 25-year-old Morris County man raped a 13-year-old Elmwood Park child he held captive in his vehicle in Paterson, authorities charged. A judge in Paterson denied Luis Campos of Lincoln Park release, ordering that he remain held pending trial on two charges of first-degree aggravated assault and one of first-degree kidnapping, among other counts, Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M.
