New Rape Accusations For Sussex County Man With Dismissed Sex Assault Case, Reports Say
A 38-year-old Sussex County man with a previously dropped sex assault case is facing new allegations of strangling and raping a woman last week, reports say. Ian Schweizer was charged by State Police with simple assault and four counts of sexual and aggravated assault after he allegedly held the woman down, obstructed her breathing and sexually assaulted her at his Sandyston home on April 21, leading to her hospitalization, NJHerald reports citing police records. It took more than 62,000 gallons of water to douse a fire that broke out at a Sussex County camp building Wednesday night, authorities said. The two-alarm blaze was reported just after 9:30 p.m. at a Camp Hoover building at 951 Rt. 521 in Newton. Bergen Man Accused Of Raping Two Pre-Teens Faces New Sex Charges In Sussex
UPDATE: A former state DOT employee from River Edge already being held on charges of raping two pre-teens is also accused of sexually assaulting a member of a Sussex County rescue squad at his former home in Frankford.
