Wrong-Way Driver Of Stolen Car Apprehended After Pursuit: Roselle Park PD
A 19-year-old Elizabeth resident was apprehended after he was spotted driving a stolen car the wrong-way on Tuesday, Oct. 31, Roselle Park police said.
At 12:16 a.m., police observed a gray Hyundai driving the wrong way down a one-way street near West Roselle Avenue, officers said. Police attempted to stop the vehicle, but the driver, Jayden Alzdate, fled at a high rate of speed, officers said.

A driver and passenger were charged after numerous drugs including crack cocaine, Molly, and Xanax were found in a car that was pulled over for bearing bogus license plates, authorities said.
Cesar O. Nunez, 32, was driving on Route 22 when he was stopped for having fictitious license plates around 2:05 a.m. on Monday, March 7, Readington Township Police said.
A follow-up search of the vehicle turned up crack cocaine, police said.

Taylor Hill, 19, and Kamal Johnson, 18 -- both of Newark and former dance majors at Arts High School -- were passengers in a Cadillac sedan that crashed in the eastbound lanes of Route 22 Tuesday around 11:10 p.m., Acting Essex County Prosecutor Theodore N.
