Person Struck By Train In Harrison; 2nd Person Killed By Train In NJ Wednesday An Amtrak train struck a person who had entered the tracks in Harrison just east of Penn Station Newark Wednesday night, NJ Transit said. Transit later said the person died.  The person was hit around 5:07 p.m.  The incident disrupted service between New York Penn and Newark Penn stations, NJ Transit and Amtrak said. Man Killed By Train In Millburn, Service Suspended On 2 Lines A man was killed when he was struck by a train near the Millburn station Friday morning, NJ Transit said.  The man, who was not identified, was hit by the 6610 on the Morris and Essex Line headed towards New York around 6:45 a.m. His identity was not immediately released. No one else was injured.  Service on the Morris and Essex and Gladstone lines remained suspended as of about 8:30 a.m. in both directions. Tickets were being cross-honored on NJ Transit buses and private carriers, the spokeswoman said.  Service resumed later Friday morning.

Clifton Woman, 35, ID'd As Victim Fatally Struck By Light Rail Train The person killed when she was struck by a light rail train in Weehawken Monday night is a 35-year-old Clifton woman, NJ Transit said.  Saskia Guerrero was struck by the Hudson-Bergen line train around 11 p.m. near Port Imperial Boulevard. Click here for more.  Original story:  A pedestrian died Monday night when she was hit by a Hudson Bergen Light Rail train in Weehawken, NJ Transit said.  The woman was hit around 11 p.m. near Port Imperial Boulevard. Update: 12 Victims Hospitalized In Hillside Senior Citizen Bus Crash A dozen people were hospitalized with what were characterized as minor injuries after a car rear-ended a bus in Hillside Thursday, sending it into a utility pole. A Hyundai Sonata traveling on Long Avenue apparently blew a stop sign and rear-ended a Hillside Senior Citizen bus that was headed south on Central Avenue just before 9:30 a.m., authorities said.
