The trendy Palisade Avenue shop makes more than just pizza: There's flourless pistachio cake, Bomboloni, trays of lasagna, panna cotta and more. View this post on Instagram A post s…

In March 2004, Margaret "Peggy" McGeary, a Hoboken woman who was working as a sign-maker, was on foot when she was hit by an SUV. Incredibly, the then-64-year-old suffered no broken bones and was able to leave the hospital that day (although she would spend several months in physical therapy). McGeary's injuries did leave her unable to continue working as a sign maker, but did not prevent her from pursuing her passion, quilting and sewing, as a full-time career. She went on to open Mile Square Fabric Studio and became a prominent figure in the area's quilting community. On Monday, McGear…

Her vision was an ice cream parlor like the ones she grew up with down at the Jersey Shore. The storefront opened on McWilliams place in 2013, and then came the ice cream truck in 2016.
