Chick-fil-A Opens Another NJ Location Chick-fil-A has opened another New Jersey location. The North Bergen store officially opened in a newly-constructed building at 7416 Tonnelle Avenue on Nov. 18, JerseyDigs reports.  It is Hudson County's second Chick-fil-A location, the first being in Jersey City's Newport Centre Mall. Run by independent franchise owner Adam Smith, the North Bergen store creates 90 jobs and is the second Hudson County and is open for drive-thru customers only Monday to Saturday, 6:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. Click here for more from JerseyDigs.

Prosecutor: Jersey City Mall Shooter Gets 6 Years Behind Bars A 26-year-old Jersey City man was sentenced to six years in New Jersey State Prison for a shooting at the Newport Centre Mall that injured two people in 2019, authorities said Tuesday. Ahmad Broadway was sentenced by Superior Court Judge John A. Young, Jr., on Monday to five years for second-degree possession of a weapon for unlawful purposes and one year for fourth-degree risking widespread injury or damage, Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez said. Newport Mall Announces Thanksgiving, Black Friday Hours The Newport Centre Mall in Jersey City will be open Thanksgiving night and will reopen early the next day, Black Friday, a spokeswoman for the mall's owner, Simon, said Monday.  The mall will open Thanksgiving, Nov. 28, at 5 p.m. and it will remain open until 1 a.m. The mall reopens that day, Black Friday, at 6 a.m. and closes at 10 p.m.   Newport Centre has more than 130 shops, restaurants and other stores, as well as a movie theater. The mall is located at 30 Mall Drive.
