A New Jersey elementary teacher and soccer coach admitted to posing as a woman to get children to send sexual content, federal authorities confirmed. Steven Brooks, 36, of Morristown, pleaded guilty to production of child pornography and possession of child pornography, U.S. Attorney Philip R. Sellinger said in a Thursday, April 6 release. A trio in stolen BMW with heavy tints and the "SOS" button ripped from the ceiling had outstanding warrants and heroin, authorities said. Officers in the Secaucus Police Department's Anti-Crime Unit were patrolling near the Rodeway Inn Motel on Route 3, around 9:05 p.m. on Wednesday, March 22, when they noticed a 2021 BMW 540i pull into the parking lot, Police Chief Dennis Miller said. Twenty-eight municipalities statewide have been cited by New Jersey officials for excluding the LGBTQIA+ community in their online marriage license applications. Burlington Opening Pair Of NJ Stores
Two more New Jersey Burlington stores are on their way. Burlington, formerly Burlington Coat Factory, will be opening one store in Morristown in March and another in Rio Grande in April, its website shows. The Morristown store will be located at 191 E. Hanover Ave., and the Rio Grande store in the Rio Grande Plaza, according to job postings from Burlington.
