A Morris Plains police officer charged with stealing more than $86,000 from his department's PBA while serving as its treasurer was sentenced to five years probation and monthly restitution payments, authorities said Friday. Tommy's Tavern + Tap has announced an opening dates for three new locations in New Jersey. The restaurant, bar and pizzeria is coming to Morris, Mercer and Passaic counties in the next coming months. A 64-year-old resident was killed in a fire in a Parsippany garden apartment Sunday afternoon, responders said. His name was being withheld pending notification of next of kin.
