'Covered In Blood:' Man Assaulted With Hammer In Montclair Board Of Ed Parking Lot, Police Say A 60-year-old Fairfield man was arrested and charged with assaulting a man with a hammer outside the Montclair Board of Education building on Friday, April 12, authorities said. Giuseppe Iudici was charged with aggravated assault and multiple weapons offenses. He was remanded to the Essex County Correctional Facility.  At 8 p.m., callers reported to police that two pick-up trucks were ramming into each other in the parking lot, Montclair officers said.
