Body Found On 440 ID'd As Missing Woman
The body found on Route 440 on the Jersey City-Bayonne border on Wednesday, May 17, has been identified as Norelis Mendoza, who has been missing last week, authorities announced. Mendoza, a 32-year-old Lindenwold mom, had been last seen in Jersey City on Saturday, May 13,Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez said. Alert Issued For Jersey City Woman Missing For Days
UPDATE: Norelis Mendoza was found dead along Route 440 in Jersey City Wednesday, May 17, authorities said. ORIGINAL: Jersey City police are attempting to locate a missing 32-year-old woman. Norelis Mendoza was last seen at her mother's residence at Montgomery St and Monmouth Street on Saturday, May 13 at 10 p.m., police said. Police describe her as 5'7", 120 lbs. with black hair and brown eyes. She has a tattoo that says "Marta" on her back. Anyone with information is asked to contact detectives at 201-547-5460.
