Triple Shooting Kills Irvington Woman In Newark A 41-year-old Irvington woman was killed in a triple shooting in Newark on Monday evening, May 22, authorities said. Police responded to a shooting on the 900 block of 18th Avenue and found Latoya Miller-Kone suffering from apparent gunshot wounds, Acting Essex County Prosecutor Theodore Stephens II and Newark Public Safety Director Fritz Fragé said. She was transported to University Hospital where she was soon pronounced dead, Stephens II and Fragé said.
