U.S. Marshals Capture Jersey City Murder Suspect in Florida: Authorities A 26-year-old Jersey City man was arrested in Florida on Wednesday, Jan. 29 and charged with a fatal shooting that occurred last year, authorities said. On Sunday, Dec. 8, at 11:20 p.m., Jersey City police responded to a shooting on Fairview Avenue between John F. Kennedy Boulevard and West Side Avenue, and found Dushawn Bell, a 34-year-old Elizabeth resident, with a gunshot wound, Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez said. Motorcyclist Killed In Jersey City Crash: Authorities A 35-year-old Jersey City man was killed on Sunday, August 13 when his motorcycle struck a Tesla, authorities said. At 5:40 p.m. at John F. Kennedy Boulevard and Highland Avenue, a white Tesla was making a left turn when a white Suzuki motorcycle approached the intersection at a high rate of peed, striking the Tesla, Kimberly Wallace-Scalfione, a spokeswoman for the mayor's office said. Pedestrian Seriously Injured By Car In Jersey City: Prosecutor A 67-year-old pedestrian was seriously injured after being struck by a vehicle on John F. Kennedy Boulevard in Jersey City on Wednesday, Feb. 23, authorities said. The woman was crossing between two stopped vehicles at Montgomery Street when the rear vehicle accelerated and struck her around 1:50 p.m., Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez said.
