Ice Cream Vendor Robbed at Knifepoint: Newark PD
An ice cream vendor was robbed at knifepoint in Newark on Thursday, July 18, authorities said.
At 9:30 a.m., the ice cream vendor was setting up their cart at the 200 block of Mt. Prospect Avenue when two men approached her from behind asking for ice cream, Newark Public Safety Director Fritz Fragé said. The suspects then pushed her into a cart, held up a knife to her throat while a second suspect took her bag, containing $1,000, an iPhone, a vendor's license, her ID and a bank card.

Vehicle Sought In Pipe Assault Robbery, Newark Police Says
A man was assaulted with a pipe and robbed in Newark on the early morning of Friday, May 31, authorities said.
At 3:41 a.m., two men and a woman struck the man with a metal pipe in his head, face, back and arm on the 400 block of North 5th Street, Newark Public Safety Director Fritz Fragé said.
The trio took the man's iPhone, $700 in cash and then fled in a silver 2006 Honda Ridgeline pickup truck with New Jersey license plate P97RBZ, Fragé said.

Woman Robbed At Gunpoint In Jersey City: Authorities
A woman was robbed at gunpoint by two men in Jersey City early Saturday morning, Sept. 9, authorities said.
The woman said two men approached her at Marin Boulevard and York Street and brandished a gun, demanding her purse, which contained her ID, iPhone and credit card, Kimberly Wallace-Scalfione, a spokeswoman for the mayor's office said.

Two New York City men accused of ordering iPhones using fraudulent information were caught after they picked up the package they had arranged to have delivered to a vacant Morris County home, authorities said.
Jose Herrera-Sanchez, 25, and Henry Perez, 28, were pulled over after they were seen taking a package delivered to a home for sale on Appletree Lane March 13, Hanover Police Chief Mark Roddy said.
