A Union City couple is facing animal cruelty charges after neglecting their four dogs -- two pit bulls and two chihuahuas, documents say. Authorities found the animals living in unsanitary conditions while responding to Jasmin Rodriguez-Herrara and David O. Pineda's College Place apartment for reports of a dog bite on Jan. 22, HudsonTV reports. Body Found In Hudson County Park
Authorities are probing the discovery of a body Tuesday morning in a popular Hudson County park. The body was found in a wooded area of James J. Braddock North Hudson Park in North Bergen, HudsonTV reports. The individual's identity had not been released as of Wednesday. The death is reportedly not considered suspicious.

Report: Officials Shut Down Illegal Union City Church Construction After Video Surfaces
An illegal construction project in Union City has been shut down after a video of the work surfaced on social media, reports say.
