Rieval Partner Dies By Suicide In Hudson Mall: Officials A 45-year-old man hanged himself at the Hudson Mall in Jersey City on Tuesday, Feb. 13, authorities said. The man, who has not been identified by police, was a partner in the Rieval thrift store inside the mall, Kimberly Wallace-Scalfione, a spokeswoman for the mayor's office said.  He was discovered by his business partners, Wallace-Scalfione said. An apparent suicide note was left behind by the man, Wallace-Scalfione said. Hibachi Grill Chef Hospitalized In Jersey City Assault, Reports Say The chef at a Jersey City hibachi restaurant was hospitalized with serious injuries after being assaulted Sunday evening, developing police reports say. The assault at the Hibachi Grill & Supreme Buffet at the Hudson Mall apparently caused the chef to hit his head on a countertop around 7 p.m., according to initial reports and RLS Media. He was apparently rushed to Jersey City Medical Center in serious condition. Officials did not immediately return Daily Voice's information request Sunday evening.
