A 24-year-old Lehigh Valley man identified as a person of interest in Tuesday’s deadly attack on a mother and her son in New Jersey has been charged with evidence tampering after he deleted text messages while being interviewed by detectives, LehighValleyLive reports. Kyle P. Jersey City Man Sentenced To Life In Prison For Fatal Shooting
A Jersey City man who was previously found guilty of gunning down another city resident was sentenced to life in prison, the Hudson County Prosecutor's Office said Monday. Marquise Brown, 26, will be about 90 years old when he's eligible for parole under the No Early Release Act, which requires him to serve a minimum of 85 percent of his sentence. Brown was previously found guilty of killing Amir Pleasant, 20, on April 29, 2017. Pleasant was sitting in his parked car on Dwight Street when Brown approached and opened fire. Man Found Guilty In Jersey City Slaying; Two Others Also Convicted
A Jersey City man was found guilty of a fatal shooting in the city and two others were convicted of related charges last week, the Hudson County Prosecutor's Office said. Marquise Brown, 25, was convicted of murder and other charges in the death of Amir Pleasant, 20, of Jersey City. Pleasant was sitting in his car on Dwight Street April 29 when Brown approached and shot him multiple times.
