Officer Hit By Bottle Thrown By Attendee Of Party With Underage Drinkers In Hasbrouck Heights A Hasbrouck Heights police officer was struck by a bottle thrown through the open window of a patrol car while approaching a group of 75 mostly underage attendees of an illegal drinking party at a local home, authorities said. Although the officer escaped serious injury, whoever threw the bottle will be prosecuted aggressively, Hasbrouck Heights Police Chief Joseph Rinke said.
