Man Charged After Hit, Run Crash Seriously Injured Woman In Harrison: Prosecutor A 52-year-old Kearny man was arrested and charged on Wednesday, Sept. 25, with striking a pedestrian in Harrison and then leaving the scene in May, authorities said. At 2 a.m. on Friday, May 17, a 66-year-old Harrison woman was struck by a vehicle at Harrison Avenue and South 5th Street, Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez said. The driver of the striking vehicle, Robert Marmora, did not remain at the scene, Suarez said. The Jeep Cherokee with Illinois registration was stolen from the Speedway Gas Station on Harrison Avenue around 6:30 p.m. on Jan. 7, Harrison police said.
