Police: Pascack Valley Teen Crashes SUV Half-Hour After Release For Underage Drinking A drunken 19-year-old from Hillsdale crashed an SUV into a utility pole in River Vale -- a half-hour after being released to a responsible adult following an underage drinking arrest, police said. It began at 6:45 a.m. Saturday, when an off-duty borough police officer spotted an idling vehicle stopped in a traffic lane on Rivervale Road near Piermont Avenue, Sgt. Peter Martin said.
