The teenage son of a Glen Rock councilwoman who's also a BergenPAC administrator remained hospitalized with severe injuries following a weekend car crash. Teddy Martin, 18, reportedly suffered a broken tibia and femur, as well as kidney and spleen lacerations, in the collision in Alexandria, NJ shortly before 9 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 24. Martin was making a left from Whitehead Road onto Everittstown Road (Route 513) less than a mile from the Pittstown border when his Nissan collided with a Jeep, New Jersey State Police Trooper Troy McNair said. Three men were each charged with murder in a street shooting that killed an innocent college-bound honor student from Paterson as he carried in his grandmother’s groceries. Jaquin Williams and Jahed Jones, both 19 of Paterson, and Kahaz D. Heron, 18, of Clifton remained held in the Passaic County Jail following an intense and furious investigation into the slaying of 18-year-old Robert Cuadra. Two native North Jersey musical legends had their upcoming back-to-back shows at the popular Outpost in the Burbs in Montclair postponed because of coronavirus concerns. Park Ridge’s Suzzy Roche and her daughter Lucy Wainwright Roche are having their March 19 show rescheduled. So are the Bongos, the most popular band to come out of Hoboken’s thriving alternative scene.
