North Jersey Native Critically Injured Fighting Baltimore Fire Sees Community Support People are coming together to support Dillion Rinaldo, a lieutenant in the Baltimore City Fire Department and a Fair Lawn native, who was seriously injured battling a three-alarm blaze last week. A fundraiser has been launched for Rinaldo and his fiancée, Lauren. As of Tuesday, Oct. 24, more than $73,000 has been raised. Albie Nieves, a Belleville resident, has launched a fundraiser to help him obtain the dog. As of Thursday, August 17, more than $5,700 has been raised. Maui Wildfire: Essex County Native Helping Family Impacted Nicole Conway's niece and her family were one of the many people impacted by the wildfires in Maui, Hawaii. Conway, a Belleville resident, has created a fundraiser to assist her niece and several other family members who reside on the island. As of Tuesday, August 15, $525 has been raised. Conway said her entire family is safe but they lost their home and belongings and currently staying with someone else. "They currently don't have much cell service and need everything to restart their lives," Conway said.
