The college student from Woodcliff Lake lost his entire immediate family in a crash on the Garden State Parkway over the weekend. A joint funeral service was held for David and Michele Dryerman, both 54, and Brooke Dryerman, 17, Tuesday morning at Temple Emanuel of Pascack Valley. Seton Hall Student Dies In Dorm, University Says A Seton Hall University student died after suffering a medical emergency in a dorm room Monday, school officials said. The unidentified student was in Neumann Hall at the time of the incident, according to SHU President Joseph E. Nyre. The cause of death was not released, pending a medical examiner's report. The 15-year-old boy was heading toward the McDonald's on the westbound side of the highway in Rockaway Borough when he was struck around 9:50 p.m., Police Sgt. Kyle Schwarzmann said. SUP'T: Fair Lawn Schools Offer Counseling After Thomas Jefferson Student Fatally Struck Fair Lawn schools will be offering counseling Tuesday following the sudden death of a Thomas Jefferson Middle School student, district officials said. The 12-year-old boy was fatally struck by a Bergen County Sheriff's Officer on Route 208 in Fair Lawn Sunday night while attempting to cross the highway divider, Acting Bergen County Prosecutor Dennis Calo said.
