Man Suffers Head Trauma After Being Struck By Rolling Car He Was Riding In: North Bergen PD
A man in his early 70s suffered head trauma after being struck by a rolling vehicle that he had been riding in Wednesday evening, July 12 in North Bergen, police said. The Cliffside Park resident got out of the vehicle and walked around the back of the car at 1600 71st Street, around 7:05 p.m., North Bergen Police Capt. Jorge Raposo said. The vehicle rolled back knocking the man to the ground, causing him to hit his head, Raposo said. The man is believed to have suffered a concussion, the captain said.

Ammonia Based Smelling Salts Sicken Students In Morris County: Officials
Ammonia-based smelling salts used by athletes and once used to treat fainting women had an adverse affect on students who brought the substance to a Morris County school, district officials said. A student brought the bottle of a type of "athletic smelling salt" to the Copeland Middle School on Tuesday, Feb. 7, and others who applied it were "adversely affected," Rockaway Superintendent Richard R. Atlantic City Woman Beaten After Asking Girl To Stop Splashing Water At Philadelphia Museum
Philadelphia police are investigating an attack on an Atlantic City woman at an area museum that left her badly bruised and her young nephew in shock. Danielle Vincent of Atlantic City had taken her nephew to the Franklin Institute on May 1, and at some point asked a young girl at a children's exhibit to stop splashing water, NJ.com reports. That's when a man and two women -- one of whom was apparently the girl's mother -- began punching and pummeling Vincent, she told the media outlet.
