A Clifton mother finally exhaled when her missing 12-year-old son was found safe in Secaucus, authorities said. The boy, who is on the autism spectrum, apparently boarded a New Jersey Transit bus on Market Street around 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, they said. Clifton police notified Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. NJ Transit police arrested a man they say knocked a victim out cold in an unprovoked assault last year. Teddy Johnson, 34, is accused of knocking the older victim out cold during a March 6, 2020 assault near the east exit outside Newark Penn Station, transit police said. A Jersey City man had only been out of jail for a few days when he sexually assaulted a female train passenger earlier this week, NJ Transit officials said. Darrell Jordan, 25 -- who has been arrested 14 times by the NJ Transit police since 2019 -- slapped the buttock of a woman on a northbound Hudson-Bergen Light Rail train near the Port Imperial station in Weehawken then fled the scene Tuesday, NJTPD Police Chief Christopher Trucillo said.
