Man With Dementia Missing In Belleville: Police
A 72-year-old man diagnosed with dementia has been missing in Belleville since Sunday, Oct. 6, authorities said. Oscar was last seen in the area of St. Peters Church on William Street wearing a white jacket with red, yellow and blue stripes, blue jeans and blue sneakers, Belleville police said. He has also been diagnosed with asthma and diabetes, police said. Anyone with information is asked to contact Belleville Police at 973-450-3334.

Hearts Break After Deadly Asthma Attack Claims 19-Year-Old Jersey City Native
Aneudy De La Cruz died following an asthma attack on Thursday, May 11, according to his obituary. De La Cruz, a Jersey City native, attended Frank Conwell School and later graduated from Ferris High School, his obituary reads. Samuel Cobar never let his asthma stop him from chasing his dreams, according to a fundraiser set up after his passing. The West Orange native's asthma, however, is ultimately what killed him, those who knew him said. "That then led our loving brother, son and best friend to have a life-threatening asthma attack while he was alone in his apartment, which had left him unconscious without oxygen for 50 mins," the campaign says. Syhriah Julien was just nine years old when she died earlier this month due to complications from asthma, those who knew her said. Now, residents of Union and Essex counties are coming together to help her Newark family. A GoFundMe has been organized to assist Syhriah's mother, Niyah as she deals with the sudden loss.
