On Sunday, April 9, police were requested to the 7-Eleven at 39 W 8th St to remove Harley, who was acting disorderly, Bayonne Police Capt. Eric Amato said.
Harley refused to leave and began clenching his fists, challenging officers to a fight and threatening to shoot them, police said. Additional officers arrived on scene and Harley was taken into custody, police said.
While in custody at police headquarters, Harley spit in the face of an officer, police said. Harley was charged with aggravated assault involving bodily fluids, making terroristic threats and trespassing.
