The two men, who know each other, began arguing in a common hallway of a multifamily home Saturday morning. One of them, Gerald Ponce, 65, returned to his apartment during the dispute and came back out with a .38-caliber revolver, which Ponce allegedly pointed at the other man. No one was hurt.
Ponce has been charged with aggravated assault and possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose. He was being held at the Hudson County Jail.
