Acting on a tip that 20-year-old Darryl Rodriguez was dealing drugs to Secaucus residents, police searched his 39th Street Union City apartment following a nearly two-month investigation, Secaucus Police Chief Dennis Miller said.

The search turned up more than 25 pounds of edible marijuana candy, 8 pounds of pot, more than 1.5 pounds of THC oil and more than 400 THC oil vape cartridges. Police also found 135 Adderall pills, more than 600 Xanax pills, Psilocybin mushrooms, $28,874 in suspected drug proceeds and a stun gun were also recovered, Miller said.

Rodriguez had been using his apartment to grow mushrooms and convert marijuana into THC oil for street sale, Miller said.

Rodriguez was arrested on nearly a dozen charges and lodged in the Hudson County Correctional Facility.
