Jason Rosario, a 30-year-old Belleville resident, was spotted on scene by officers and began to run, police said.
He got into a car and police initiated a traffic stop, where he was later arrested and charged with attempted burglary and criminal trespass, officers said.
He was transferred to Hudson County Jail, police said. The investigation is ongoing, police said.
