Anika Noni Rose, who voiced Tiana in the Disney animation classic, is signing copies of her new book, "Tiana's Perfect Plan" at Bookends in Ridgewood on Wednesday, Oct. 23 at 4 p.m.
"Tiana's Perfect Plan" is a follow-up to the movie and involves Tiana and Naveen aiming to throw the best Mardi Gras party ever in New Orleans, according to a synopsis. Things get thrown for a loop when Naveen's parents, the king and queen of Maldonia decided to visit New Orleans to join in the celebration, according to a synopsis.
This is Rose's first book.
