The Historic Jersey City and Harsimus Cemetery announced on social media two of their goats escaped from a pen on Tuesday, Sept. 5 and are on the loose.
When reached by a reporter requesting comment on Wed. Sept. 6, John Wilson, one of the caretakers at the cemetery, hung up, while Tony Susco was unable to be reached.
The cemetery uses goats to help control weeds.
