The call for help starts in Hagerstown, where Gina Gabianelli has launched a GoFundMe campaign for her cousin, nationally recognized comic book artist Andy Fish, who was diagnosed with two rare blood cancers and is preparing for a life-saving stem-cell transplant.

Stockton University has again been named one of Money magazine’s Best Colleges in America, earning four out of five stars for the fifth consecutive year.
According to Stockton University, the 2026 list includes 735 schools nationwide selected from more than 2,400 institutions. Money does not use a single numerical ranking, instead assigning star ratings to colleges based on value, affordability, and measurable student outcomes.

24-Year-Old Unseats NJ Town's Mayor After Weeks Of Controversy
Frank Velez declared victory in Belleville’s mayoral race Tuesday night, May 12, after defeating incumbent Mayor Michael Melham in the township’s nonpartisan municipal election.
The 24-year-old received 3,255 votes, 59.47%, compared to Melham’s 2,218 votes, 40.53%, according to unofficial election results posted Wednesday afternoon, May 13.
Melham, who is also the deputy coordinator of the Office of Emergency Management, received backlash from the community over his handling of the massive warehouse fire that closed schools.
