Update: Totowa Man, 62, Dies In House Fire A resident was killed and his mother rescued Saturday in an early-morning fire that ripped through a two-family Totowa home, responders said. Gregory Massaro, 62, was trapped on the second floor after the fire broke out shortly after 5:30 a.m. at the corner of Gordon and Chamberlain avenues, authorities said. His 89-year-old mother, who lives on the first floor, was rescued by firefighters who found her on a couch, responders said.
