South Brunswick High School was locked down early Wednesday, Jan. 31 because of an unspecified incident, authorities said. At 8:30 a.m., the South Brunswick School Resource Officer and high school administration placed the school on lockdown, South Brunswick police said. The staff and officer were investigating information they had received minutes earlier. Additional officers arrived at the school and by 8:34 a.m., the student in question was located, police said. Shooting Places Newark School On Lockdown
A report of shots fired placed a Newark school on lockdown Friday, Nov. 4, authorities said. The call came in just before 3 p.m., near the Louise A. Unfounded Bomb Threat Locks Down Union County Vocational School: Officials
A North Jersey high school was put on lockdown Tuesday, April 12 amid a bomb threat, officials confirmed. No threats or devices were found during a search of the Union County Vocational Technical School on Raritan Road in Scotch Plains around 11 a.m., a county spokesperson said.
